Gearing for the Weekend

I’m back in “normal” hours for a little bit, at least a couple weeks.

I had May 2nd off (first day since April 4th!!) and took it as an opportunity to get back into gear. Getting ready for this weekend, I’m recapping my mild attempt at fitness this week:

Sun, May 2nd :: (1) Walked about (according to Google Map recap) 5.5 miles. Was going to take a page out of the C25k book and do walk/jog intervals in the middle, but then iPod died and that was my stopwatch, so I got all thrown off. So I threw in some lunges through the rest of the park, then walked home. (2) Once home I did the Moderate level of a 30 min WW fitness DVD. 
[editors note: the weird part about this was I felt oddly tired mid afternoon. Not like the post-I-was-just-awesomely-active-today-and-feel-great like I think I should have been]

Monday May 3rd:: I lounged in the morning with a friend and then the afternoon was spent with my roommate at the dr’s, so nothing today

Tuesday, May 4th :: Last Chance Workout with Jillian Michaels (did at night)

Wednesday, May 5th :: Upper Body Tone & Lower Body Sculpt from the last chance workout dvd. (did it in the morning). I had an Event that night, so loads of walking on my sore body from the back-to-back workouts. But still felt pretty good.

Thursday, May 6th :: Post work was dedicated to a million loads of laundry that’s built up… No exercise

Friday, May 7th:: Today. It’s 10pm and I’m just about to leave work, and I’m pretty pooped, so I’m not sure I’ll get anything tonight. I did walk to the grocery store this morning with my roommate before work. It’s only about 1.5 miles, but it was nice to be outside this morning and something’s better than nothing?

Sat, Tomorrow :: I do have the day off, and I do need to do some cleaning, but I’m hoping the weather will be nice and I can go for a long walk again. Maybe I’ll even venture back into my gym and try some on the treadmill.

And Sunday’s off too! I may go to a friend’s graduation, but no reason I can’t get some exercise in here too…
