Weekend Recap

I laid low this weekend and it was totally awesome. I ended up working for a while on Saturday, but it wasn’t a big deal. I really need to get back on my tracking again. I wrote down everything I ate this weekend, and now that I’m back to a computer, I’m going to input them and see what it is I ate! I think I’m actually low on points (from my rough estimate) which is something new. 

Well it’s not new that I’d be low on points, if it was a conscious effort, etc. But I ate just when I was hungry and was very mindful of what I was eating and in what portions, and honestly it just felt good. So we’ll see what it actually adds up to be.

Exercise

After more than a month (maybe approaching 2??) hiatus from the gym, I got out of work early enough on Saturday to go! I picked the treadmill and wanted to run. I’ve only run a time or two since I stopped C25k in April, but I went for it. And it felt pretty awesome!
I started with a 5 min walk (3.5) then 5 min run (4.5), 3 min walk, 5 min run, 3 min walk, then 2 run and 2 walk until I hit 30 minutes. The last run was pretty hard, but I pushed through, I was almost to 30 minutes and right at about 2 miles. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it was kind of cool to me. And it was 87* outside, so there’s no way I would have done it outside!

Sunday I went out for a bike ride pretty early and rewarded myself by reading in the park for an hourish in the middle. It was just such a gorgeous day! It was a 6.5 mile loop total. For being my 2nd bike ride in who knows how long (not counting some stints on a stationary) I’ll take it! 

Today’s Weigh-In Monday! We’ll see what the “official” scale says.
